Don't underestimate me...

It's a really sunny day today, so decided I should write... it's put me in a nice calm mood.
Not been too busy, but little bits and bobs in life take up so much time! And since I'm starting to write up my PhD, I've been trying to get some decent part of my chapter done before I see my supervisors.

Also... I've finally got my license for air rifles, after several months of airsoft shooting (BB Guns)!
My recent game included shooting guys in the nuts and they ended up laughing in hysterics whilst in pain because they were as shocked as I was.. my reflex reactions were far too quick hahaha, they really didn't expect it. I dished out several head shots and generally having a great time hehe.
But I also been getting loads of head shots too that drew blood (height issue, I'm short compared to these big guys. Helmet is on the shopping list).

So this weekend I went and got my first pistol with my brother. Gas blowback, Sig Sauer P228: the ones Navy SEALS use [SAS, FBI etc. too]. I love it (*^^*)
The dude at the counter in the shop said I had a really good grip, and was really nice to me, showing me all sorts of tricks and tips. I've held rifles before, but it was my first time with a pistol, and he said I was pretty natural at it already. Yay!

The manager was trying to sell me tiny 'feminine' guns, for small girls with small hands: Glock 23/26 types.. sub-compact guns, but I really didn't like them although one felt rather nice and the weight was good. So I ended up with my Sig. Don't like short stubby guns. Hell no.

The dude giggled and said approvingly: 'You're gonna be one of those girls with massive guns'.
I said: 'Yeah, don't underestimate a short girl.'
He replied: 'Yeah too right, don't underestimate short/tiny girls... they move a lot quicker too.'

So that was basically my weekend; getting gear and stuff.
Other than that... I've also got a few awesome designer items recently (*^.~*) as a major treat for myself as I've not been spending much at all this year.

Tomorrow is the start of semester, which means University campus is going to be packed. Oh boy...

Let's hope my bosses come back in a good mood after their holiday and not grouchy haha (*^.~*)
Oh and... if there are any morons this semester... watch it, I'm armed (*^.~*)
