Escaping Rainy Days

I'm off! Last day tomorrow!
So after a manic... few months? I'm escaping the temperamental weather here.

It's almost June and the heating needs to be on, it's so cold.
Then again it'll be far too hot for me when I get off the plane, but it'll be a change nonetheless! Let's hope the sweating will help me lose a few pounds *giggles*.

The weather has been pleasant with gentle sun (but cold breeze) the last few days, and sure enough you can't rely on English weather as it was pouring down all day today as I went out for afternoon tea and a coffee with a former classmate.

Even though it's not really holiday I need a break from here. It's been too busy for the last 2 weeks.. and a lot has happened.. so I need some distractions and a change of scenery.
I haven't been posting much as there really isn't anything happening in my life that is remotely interesting, but since I'm going away it'll mean that in the coming month there won't be any posts here.

My life has mainly consisted of coffee, PhD-ing, coffee-ing, yoga, more coffee-ing, yoga-ing, PhD-ing, cafe visiting, some more PhD-ing... and did I miss out my high doses of caffeine intake?
*giggles*
I've been in office everyday of the week practically 8am-8pm each day sorting out various things like my data collection and paper writing. It's been busy. In some ways though, I'm glad I've been kept busy and distracted from my personal life.

There is so much I want to say here... so much I want to let out, but at the same time there is so much I want to retain; thoughts that are precious and personal to me I want to both share and keep secret.

Soon I will be moving offices, away from my colleagues that are members of staff, and closer once again to the other PhD students. I think that will happen in August. It'll be interesting what my new roommates will be like... I'll worry about that when I get there - I'm not too bothered since I'm usually in my own zone when I work anyways.

Perhaps when I have time I will post photos of my travels during my short hiatus.
