My New Pearl Bracelet

Pearls mean honesty, integrity, pureness, calmness and concentration. 

They're sometimes called the "Teardrops of the Moon", and are often associated with water, the Moon and Angels. Some people believe they are formed by the the passage of Angels.

Asians, such as the Chinese and Japanese believe pearls to bring luck and good fortune.

A symbol for elegance and femininity.

My mother bought me this today as she said it suited me.

 So, I thought I'll post it here with my Obsidian bracelet and one of my favourite charms (*^^*). I wear the black Obsidian bracelet all the time as I've become accustomed to having it with me at all times. I just feel comfortable with it.

It's quite difficult to capture the lustre and sheen of the pearls but nonetheless I really like it and it's so pretty (*^^*). Pearls are also the birthstone for Cancerians and those born in the months of June or July.  Which means it's my birthstone too, amongst a few other gems hehehehe. I'm not one to believe in birthstones, I just wear what I feel comfortable with and go with my intuition.

My parents weren't so keen on me wearing black jewellery or so many black clothes (I don't just wear black, I just have a lot of black items hahaha) all the time as they were into more colourful fashion styles, but they never objected to it as long as it wasn't offensive or looked out of place on me. 

Now they've realised that it really does suit me and they're starting to even like it (*^~^*) Yay!
