Cherry Scones

Another spontaneous baking day where my dear Mother requested homemade scones after passing by some large scones in a bakery. I made some cherry scones immediately when I arrived back (*^^*)

It's very unusual for us to have so much sun here... hehehe... Although one can already feel the autumn bitterness seeping through, there has been a lot of sunshine lately. Perhaps a delayed summer sun. 

Because I'm now on instagram, I'm gaining a lot more enjoyment from taking photos. I used to take random photos of everything and anything but these would end up locked away in some cupboard in a box, or in some folder stored away in a remote place on my laptop where I will never open again.

Photography is certainly a good way to relieve stress. A lot of things are happening right now and although I wouldn't say I'm 'stressed' as such, I'm certainly very busy... and regardless of how busy I am, I always try to find something that takes my mind elsewhere, away from work. What I really would like right now is to restart my piano regimes.. but I simply do not have the time or energy for it until after this important phase of my PhD. I guess listening to my music playlist will have to do for now *^^*

Back from conference!

Conference Venue

Hey everyone!


As you may have worked out, I am back from the conference/business trip I was on. It was tiring and stressful (only because I don't like socialising and schmoozing old cronies hahahaha). Otherwise it was wonderful!!!

I'm on Instagram now, finally. I had the app for two years and never used it. (*^0^*) that's typical me.
So now I'm photographing loads *^^* well, I haven't started doing it a lot more, I'm just publishing my photos now instead of letting them rot somewhere in a drawer or in a folder on my computer hehe!
