Happy Lunar New Year! General Notice (*^^*) New Updates & Twitter Account!
Hi everybody!! Happy Lunar New Year!! Its the year of the Dragon this year! (*^^*)
I would like to thank everyone who supports this site and have been writing comments in *^^* it's really nice to know there is support and appreciation and what I'm doing is interesting for others as well as myself. If there are any suggestions, comments and requests, please write to me and you will definitely get a reply!!
I have also opened a twitter account that connects with this blog. Please follow @LilDragonBlog !!
As you all may already know, it was the Lunar New Year on the 23rd of January, a festival, sometimes called the Spring Festival that is celebrated widely across Asia; including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia and Singapore!
So during the time up to the New Year, everyone prepares by spring cleaning thoroughly and buying new household items where possible, like new bedsheets, new towels and flannels, new PJs and underwear! It's all part of the tradition that a New Year needs a new clean start in order for luck to reach our households and stay! (The Gods who brings luck wouldn't want to stay in a dirty house for sure!)
During the festival there's usually a large banquet of luxurious food to have at home, which may consist of roast meats (duck, pork), seafood (fish, lobsters, crabs and prawns) and lots of seasonal snacks, small dishes, and candy/sweets.
For those who visit regularly, you may have noticed a few changes to the site layout, colour schemes and some gadgets. I have been experimenting with some programming and designs, so I apologise if any inconvenience has been caused. Hopefully everything is much clearer to find and the template scheme has made things less cluttered. If there are any suggestions or any thing you don't like, please let me know! *^^*
There's a new music player at the bottom of the screen, and the far right button on the music player shows the playlist if you click on it. I'm happy to put requested songs up, so just let me know what songs you would like, and if a lot of people request it, I'd certainly put that song as the top one on the playlist!
Thanks to the blogger update, I'm now able to directly reply to comment posts, instead of commenting underneath which the commentator may not notice or know about. *^^*
Let's make this year even better than before p(*^^*)q !!!

Hello Kitty gets a ‘Chukaman’ makeover
On January 10th, convenience store chain Circle K Sunkus began selling Hello Kitty versions of Chukaman (or steamed Chinese dumpling). The product became an instant sensation, and comments about the ‘Hello Kitty-man’ are spreading fast on social networking sites like Twitter.
“Hello Kitty-man” is a custard-filled steamed dumpling shaped like a Hello Kitty. The confectionery contains apples pieces and is easily bought for 150 yen.
Its pink wrapping paper also encloses a “Sanrio Happy Fortune”, whose messages vary from from product to product.

「When Heaven Burns」(TVB Drama) ... and the meaning of true friendship
And so last night was the final episode of this drama series I've been following... and it really is a touching story. It's so engaging, and really makes you truly think "So who are my true friends?" "Am I really who I want to be?".
For those who don't know the series and the plot, I'll explain briefly.
The plot is around the lives of a group of 5 friends; 4 of which are young men in a rock band and a girl. These young adults have grown extremely close to each other through experiencing the rough tides of life, society, and aspiring to keep music alive together. No matter what happened, this quintet of friends have an unbreakable, undoubting friendship... a bond.
